Honoco Road. Enjoy the lake.
Honoco road was origionated from the efforts of several families who enjoyed the lake. Ho=Honess,No=Nobles,Co=Cornellius. Honoco Inc. was established as a way to collect monies in a collaborative way to help keep the road in a passable state. We are a community with a common easement that needs maintenace so we all can enjoy the lake.

Your section of road is your property and a common easement. Please feel free to fix with stone, STONE PROVIDED BY THE ASSOCIATION, and clean your ditches. The more you are able to do will allow us to keep dues low while providing maintenance to areas in need.

Article II
A. Honoco Road consists of properties starting at Lake Road (Town of Ledyard) to TOwn LIne Gully to 1043 Honoco Road, a distance of approximtely 4 miles.
B. These homes are sites for vacation or permanent homes. Since Honoco Road is a major private road (ie. more than three families), each site is required to provide an easement/right-of-way (refer to individual deed) across the property with a width of at least 12 feet.
C. Maintenance of ingress and egress for easement/right-of-way will be maintained by eah respective property owner. In the event the propeerty owner does not maintan his/her section of the rodway in an appropriate manner, the road may be repaired as needed by the Road Association (HONOCO INC)

Dues
Article III
A. Membership in HONOCO INC. Road Association requires an annual payment of dues to help offset expenses incurred by the Road Association. All property owners are mandated to pay such dues annually.
B. Dues are voted on each year att he annual meeting.
C. Dues are payable on May 1 of each year.
D The annual assessmentn period will be May 1 to April 30 of each year.
E. Checks should be made payable to HONOCO INC and may be handed personally to the treasurer, placed in the HONOCO INC mailbox at the end of the road, or mailed to:PO Box 168, Aurora, NY 13026.
F Members are not eligible to serve on the Board of Directors if their dues for the past five years are not paid and current at the time of nomination.
Volunteers Needed
An exciting year ahead. We are seeking volunteers to serve on the Road committee and to serve as Road Committee Chair. We would like to form a ByLaws committee to review the current By-Laws.
